Loopz Game – Hot Toys
Topic: Best Christmas Toys

One of the top Christmas toys this season is the Loopz Game by Mattel. It is a radical and challenging game that will give you the wildest experience in game play that you have ever come across in a game.

If you are looking for one of the best toys for Christmas, Loopz is it. So what is it and how does it work? To begin with, it is a game of memory that mixes motion and music to create challenges that are both fast and furious. When you first see the game, you will notice that it is not like any other game you have seen. Unlike traditional games, it is a tower that stands upright. There are a total of four rings, or “loops”, that light up in a different series of sequences. The loops are not really loops, but semi-circles so they are open on the outside. The object is to pass your hand through the loop as it lights up. The built-in motion sensors will detect your movement so there is no need to touch the sides.

You can play Loopz alone or you can have up to four people playing at one time. When you want to play, simply turn it on and pass your hand through one of the top loops. Each time you pass it through it will select a game option. When you find the game that you want to play then you simply pass your hand through one of the bottom loops.

Another cool feature is that it creates sounds as your hands pass through so you can literally create your own music. In the game Musicology, you can build a song one instrument at a time. To do this, each loop makes the sound of a single instrument. As you complete a pattern it forms part of a song. Adding sequences adds more and more parts to the song until the entire song is complete.

There is also a music featured game. In this game, a song begins to play. While the music plays different loops light up and you have to pass your hand through the loop before it goes out. If you succeed the music continues playing. If you don’t reach the loop in time, it goes out and the music stops and starts all over again. It you make it through the song for 30 seconds Loopz advances to another level and the fun intensifies!

Want something that will test your reflexes? You haven’t seen anything like this game can do. Some of the games are designed to test memory while others focus on repetition and memory. Others add speed to the mix to challenge your abilities to the limit.

Voted one of the best toys 2010, Loopz is an awesome way for anyone to write or play music, even if they have never picked up an instrument. Plus, challenges keep you on your toes and speed and agility will help you get through the different levels. Try Loopz and see just how fast and coordinated you really are!

Because it is one of the best Christmas toys this season, Loopz is sure to appear on every child's Christmas list!

Choosing An Artificial Christmas Tree
Topic: Artificial Christmas Tree

Artificial Christmas trees are getting to be ever more popular each year since they do not have the fire hazard a live tree that has dried out can have, they look realistic, the trees lasts for years and they are more and more easy to set up and use. It is very important to ensure you get the right tree since you will have it for several seasons, so you need to know the size you want - whether you want a slim tree or a full, bushy one, and the look of the branches and needles.

Measure the height of the ceiling and check out your room to see if a large or small tree will fit better in it and then take measurements of the distance from the wall to where you want the edge of the tree to be to see how fluffy a tree you are looking for. The tree should be at least 6 inches shorter than your ceiling so you have room for your tree topper and by measuring the distance from the wall, you will now know whether to look at full, medium or slim trees, making sure they are not larger than your measurement. The wire in the branches must be strong enough to hold your heaviest ornaments and the center pole should be made of metal for any tree over 2’ and under 14’. The foliage should be crush resistant with many tips, normally made from a soft poly-vinyl.

You have the option of choosing from a pre lit Christmas tree or one with no lights, a white Christmas tree, flocked Christmas trees, fiber optic Christmas trees, and so on. With artificial Christmas trees, the choices are endless. You will even find trees with MP3 players and speakers!

The number of branch tips is often used for rating artificial Christmas trees, but even the cheaper trees can have a high tip count. Rather than simply relying on the tip count, it is better to choose a tree that you cannot see through and one where you can easily hang your ornaments on the outer branches.

Artificial Christmas trees can be purchased with hook-in branches or hinged branches. Trees with the hook-in branches have to be assembled by hooking each branch into a bracket on the pole of the tree trunk. The hinged branch trees typically come in three pieces and it is just a matter of fitting the trunk poles together and then folding down and shaping the branches. Of the two types, the trees with the hinged branches are the easiest and quickest to assemble.

Before choosing a tree, check to see if the stand is made of plastic or metal. Remember that artificial Christmas trees that are fully decorated are almost twice as heavy and a plastic stand may not be able to hold the stress of a fully decorated tree and could crack and break. You are better off with a tree that comes with a metal stand.

Artificial Christmas trees are low maintenance. They do not drop needles like a live Christmas tree and they do not require daily watering. Many of the artificial Christmas trees sold today are so realistic looking that it is difficult to tell the difference between them and live trees. Keeping your tree in a proper Christmas tree bag, you will avoid damaging it during the months it is not used and it will retain its shape for the following year.

When you purchase an artificial Christmas tree, you will be able to get enjoyment from a perfect and beautiful tree season after season!
